The first meet took place on Thursday 9th April 2009 and was considered by all who attended to be a big success.

As we approach our 8th Basingstoke Tweetup, I thought it was time to stop pointing the domain to a page on my personal site, and set it up on its own website.
The look of the website is still being customised (suggestions and designs welcomed!) but the two main pieces of content are present – what the Basingstoke Tweetup is about, and details of the next event (over in the sidebar).
